A native of Namyangju in the Gyeonggi Province, Chae Eun was born on October 15, 2005.

2. Jeon Chae Eun debuted on the musical theater stage

Like any other child, Chae Eun used to fantasize about having a "cool job" like being a nurse or police offer. Though, it was in 2016 when a career in acting first piqued her interest. Only in the fifth grade at the time, she was cast in a local theater troop's production of Anne of Green Gables, and has never looked back since. Her on-screen debut finally came in 2020, when she starred in the indie film Stone Skipping.

3. Jeon Chae Eun is handled by the same agency as Jung Ho Yeon

The teenage prodigy is currently signed with Saram Entertainment, which also houses the likes of former Miss Korea Honey Lee, K-pop singer Sooyoung, and Squid Game star Jung Ho Yeon.

4. Jeon Chae Eun made her K-drama debut in The Devil Judge

Come 2021, Chae Eun was cast in a supporting role in the mystery-legal K-drama The Devil Judge. In it, she played Kang Elijah, the disabled but genius niece of Kang Isaac, the show's protagonist portrayed by Jinyoung

Chae Eun's scene-stealing performance opened more doors for her. She ended up getting a part in KBS2's If You Wish Upon Me, and most recently, in tvN and Netflix's Little Women. She was even asked to make a cameo in Kim Sejeong's newest rom-com, Today's Webtoon.

5. Jeon Chae Eun was inspired by Emma Watson for her debut role

Chae Eun revealed in an interview that she looked to Emma Watson's past work as inspiration for her stint on The Devil Judge. She attempted to emanate some of her acting cues while training with her "uncle" Ji Sung, who was the lead actor in their show.

6. Jeon Chae Eun is a fan of GOT7

After getting to know Jinyoung while filming their drama together, Chae Eun became more and more of an ahgase, or a fan of GOT7 (which, ICYDK, Jinyoung is a part of). In a past interview, she shared how they would play the boy band's songs while on set, and that Treat You Better and Last Piece were two of her favorite tracks of theirs.

7. Another one of Jeon Chae Eun's idols is Youn Yuh Jung

One movie that Chae Eun's a big fan of is 2021's Minari. Like many of us, she was in awe of veteran actress Youn Yuh Jung's Academy Award-winning performance. She's previously mentioned that: "Minari is a movie that gives you thoughts and moves you. Youn Yuh Jung's performance at the end was really impressive. I would like to play a role like [that] someday."

8. Jeon Chae Eun is a working student

Even with her eyes set on becoming an award-winning actress, Chae Eun is still keen on completing her studies first. She hopes to one day graduate as a psychology major, a degree that she thinks will help with her acting.

9. Jeon Chae Eun is close with Park Ji Hu

Birds of a feather truly do flock together. Given that they're the maknaes in the Little Women cast, Chae Eun and Park Ji Hu, who plays Oh In-hye, have gotten pretty close. This is evidenced by the bounty of selfies the two have together on Chae Eun's IG grid. Bestie vibes only!
