Whether we say it out loud or not, something deep inside us wish to get married or at least witness a wedding like it just came straight out of a fairy tale book. For this Victoria's Secret model though, her extravagant wedding in Quito, Ecuador was a dream come true. Last September 4, Jasmine Tookes tied the knot with Snapchat director of international markets and long-time partner of five years, Juan David Borrero!
"Still can’t believe I’m living in a real life fairytale with you. I’m officially Mrs. Borrero," the 30-year-old model captioned her Instagram post showcasing a gigantic arc of roses arranged by Botania Flower Boutique as the newly wed couple exits the church.
One look at this stunning wedding gown, and we're definitely seeing a nod to the late American actress Grace Kelly's 1956 wedding dress as her main inspiration.
Made by Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad, the embroidered floral patterns, and the subtle pearl and sequin beading, to the high-collared neckline and lace long sleeves, to the body-hugging fit and 15-feet long train of the dress undeniably made Jasmine look like a princess—the perfect look for an enchanted garden-inspired motif that anyone could've easily mistake it for a royal wedding!
What made this wedding gown extra special is the fact that she can transform in into her second look during reception night. The draped waist belt actually reveals a detachable overskirt and an equally beautiful long-sleeve lace dress.
Her freshly minted husband, though, made sure he was also dressed up for their special day. Juan wore a double-breasted tuxedo by designer brand Armani.
Since her wedding is already sublime as it is, Jasmine kept her accessories to a minimum. Along with her engagement ring, she just wore simple diamond earrings from Ritani. To tie the all-white look together, her white satin heels are custom-made from shoe designer Sarah Flint. As for her makeup, she went with an immaculate natural, glass skin look, and nude lip. Jasmine topped it off her beauty look with a sleek mid-part low bun.
Of course, the wedding wouldn't be complete without the blessing of your loved ones and friends. To our surprise, we spotted fellow Victoria's Secret model Kelsey Merritt as one of Jasmine's bridesmaids. They wore beautifully sage-colored silk dresses by New York brand Amsale.
Even Kelsey also confirms how marvelous this wedding was especially witnessing it in person by posting a photo of the two of them. "Jas, it was so special to be one of your bridesmaids! The most stunning fairytale wedding I’ve ever been to this weekend in Ecuador," the Filipina-American model captioned the post.
Congratulations, Jasmine and Juan!
