After all, in just 10 months post-pregnancy, she lost 68lbs and is back in tiptop shape—she even manages to work out with her son Baltie. If that’s not your definition of #fitspiration, then we don’t know what is!
However, in her most recent Instagram update, which features a condensed edit of her “physical fitness and mental fitness journey after pregnancy,” Belle reveals that it was in fact a real challenge getting to where she is now. “Behind all the glossy photos was the struggle to get there,” she captions the post.
On her YouTube channel, the actress uploaded a video documenting the said struggle, which she hopes will inspire other people, especially moms, who are going through the same difficulties but have no idea how to deal with them. “So a lot of people have been asking me what is my secret—how did I lose weight? They seem to think that it was very easy for me and ang bilis, but it took me six to eight months to lose 65lbs and my goal was to lose 10lbs a month. It's really about consistency, hard work, and determination,” Belle explains. “They always say that you are what you prioritize, so if you prioritize your body and your health, then it will show. It just takes time; you need to be patient. Work hard and you need to be consistent.”
