If you've ever dreamt of taking a spacewalk on the International Space Station, then have we got good news for you. No, we're not talking about a free ticket to space, but Time is partnering with NASA for Space Explorers: The ISS Experience.
The multiplatform production will be filmed by astronauts themselves onboard the International Space Station. And, with the help of Felix & Paul Studios, you'll be able to see 360-degree scenes of what it looks like outside the space station.
The experience will feature astronauts David Saint-Jacques (Canadian Space Agency), Anne McClain (NASA), Nick Hague (NASA), Christina H. Koch (NASA), Jessica U. Meir (NASA), Luca Parmitano (European Space Agency), Hazza Al Mansouri (United Arab Emirates) and Andrew “Drew” Morgan (NASA).
"Capturing the Earth in stereoscopic 3D, 360-degree format from space, outside the space station, has never been attempted until now. It's beyond exciting and surreal to see this happening, knowing that the dream for this ambitious project started over five years ago in 2015," said Jonathan Woods, executive producer for Time Studios.
The experience will be available in the coming months on the Oculus Store.
