She's already met Song Joong Ki, too!

Vincenzo may have already come to a close but we’re still reeling from the roller coaster ride of emotions that the show brought us. From Vincenzo and Hong Cha-young’s old married couple dynamic, to Jang Han-seo’s unforgettable character development, to the rest of the drama’s band of quirky and hilarious characters, it had a lot of memorable aspects that we just can’t help but replay in our heads over and over again. Heck, even the series’ title track, Solar’s Adrenaline, still lives in our minds rent free!
Imee Lee, a Filipina based in South Korea, can definitely relate to our post-show depression, but instead of simply wistfully reminiscing her favorite scenes from Vincenzo, she took things up a notch and actually visited the drama’s iconic filming locations!
Taking a trip like this isn’t new for Imee. A true K-drama fanatic, she frequently goes out of her way to travel to the filming sites of her favorite Korean shows, such as It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and Start-Up. Of course, it definitely helps the she actually knows her way around the country. “Some of their filming locations are located in Seoul and you can easily go there using the subway,” she tells Preview. “I already visited some of the locations even before Vincenzo, like Under Stand Avenue and Dongdaemun Design Plaza, but I plan to go back there since it’s where Vincenzo and Hong Cha-young had their kiss in the last episode of Vincenzo.”

Out of all the places she visited, Imee shares that Sun Moon University was her favorite. FYI, the show used the school’s facade for their outdoor court scenes. Apart from Vincenzo though, the place is also extra special to Imee because it’s where she once caught a glimpse of Jung Hae In while he was filming his K-drama with Blackpink’s Jisoo! Who else is totally jealous right now?

She even got to take a photo with the coffee truck So Ji Sub sent for Song Joong Ki and Ok Taceyeon! While she didn’t get to meet Joong Ki in the flesh that day, Imee’s actually already met the hallyu star before in 2018. She tells Preview, “He is not only handsome but he was very kind and generous to his fans. I really hope to see him again.” We can only dream of being this lucky.
