Janine Gutierrez has one of the most envy-inducing IG feeds among local celebrities today. Her photos are always on point—be it an OOTD shot in Paris, a gorgeously lit selfie, or a touristy travel pic while strolling around New York. Which is why, when she recently vlogged about how she takes her Instagram photos, we were definitely all ears!
Here are some tips we've learned from Janine:
1. Showcase your background.
"For a wide shot, what I do is I showcase the background," says the actress. She also shares how you can instantly fake extra inches with the way you angle your shot. "One tip is to take photos from the bottom because it will make you look taller."
2. The more options you have, the better.
"After a few shots, it's always best to check the photos so if you want to change something, you can change it right away. If something's not working, you can remove it." Sometimes, she'd even have 20 to 50 photos to choose from. Janine advises, "Just keep clicking!"
3. Play with your hands to easily switch up your poses.
"I also like to put my hand on my waist. Just change the position of your hand for variety," says Janine.
