Get ready to plan your trips this coming 2018 as the Malacañang Palace releases the list of National Regular and Special Holidays through Proclamation no. 269 s. 2017 signed by President Rodrigo Duterte last July 17.
The proclamation lists 20 regular holidays and eight special non-working holidays. It also adds two extra holidays—All Souls’ Day and Christmas Eve—meant to “strengthen family ties.”
Meanwhile, announcements regarding national holidays for Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha will be released once the dates for the Islamic holidays have been determined. The actual dates for these will be given by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos to the Office of the President.
