For style superstars like Heart Evangelista, jet-setting to fashion capitals like Paris is usually part of the job. But with how often she goes to and from the locale, why doesn't she just get a place there, right? Well, it looks she's already two steps ahead of us with that idea.
In one of her recent Instagram live sessions, Heart said "bonjour" to her 10 million followers from the stylish city in France. With numerous fittings and shows to attend to, the Preview 50 Most Influential Style Icon is constantly tugged at every corner to make an appearance. "I have been in Paris and I haven't been home in a long time, but I don't mind. Everybody's got to work," she said.
When a follower inquired about her latest purchase, Heart announced that she actually just got herself an apartment!
"I just got myself an apartment. So I do not really plan to buy anything else because I have, like, all my nice furniture. I really want it to be very, very nice," she expressed. Though, she confirmed that she hasn't technically changed her address yet, since she still has business to attend to back home in Manila.
"I have work there, and I have work in the Philippines. You got to be independent, [and] pay for yourself. I'm a working girl," she said matter-of-factly.
Heart plans to stay at her new lot "indefinitely," referencing Julia Roberts' closing line at the end of '90s rom-com Notting Hill. Rest assured though, that she will fly back to the Philippines for work (and for her dogs she couldn't bring along overseas).
