Did we mention the title is Hayop Ka!? Now that’s just gold.

And the slogan? "Serious drama. Sexy romance. Intriguing intrigue." Give the writers a reward.

The best part about the film being released on Netflix? You can pause it at any point to appreciate the sheer wittiness of the film. Instead of Mall of Asia, you've got the cast hanging out at Mall of Aso. There's also Purrada, Bullgari, and Chownel. There's even a shot of EDSA's Guadalupe Bridge with billboards of Sheepguard and Hedgehog & Shoulders.

There’s a lot to be excited about, from the star-studded voice cast to the stunning graphics. Philippine cinema has barely scratched the surface of animated films, and Hayop Ka! might just be the film that busts open the door to even more amazing animated local films in the future.

Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story starts streaming on October 29, only on Netflix.
