Supermodel Gigi Hadid just recently went live to talk about her second collaborative zine with V Magazine called the Gigi Journal: Part II! The hardbound coffee table book features works from different visual artists all over the globe, all of whom Gigi personally handpicked to be part of the project.
The model also asked people to send in some questions prior to her IG Live so she can answer them while walking everyone through the book. Naturally, the most asked questions were about her pregnancy, which she hasn't been talking about or sharing on social media since news broke that she's having a baby with partner Zayn Malik.
Gigi went on to explain why, “I’m pregnant through a pandemic! Obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing that’s going on in the world. That’s the reason [why] I felt that it’s not really something I need to share [with everyone else] apart from my family and friends. Obviously a lot of people have lost their lives due to Coronavirus, and we have also moved into the reemergence of the Black Lives Matter Movement and I thought that our presence on social media should be used [for those causes].”
That said, she did reveal that she's been documenting her pregnancy through a lot of personal photos of her baby bump and she’ll be sharing them to the world when the time feels right. “I don’t feel rushed to do it. Right now, I just want to experience it. I don’t want to wake up every day and worry about looking cute and post something, you know?” the model quips.
Shortly after, she treated her followers to a glimpse of her baby bump as she unbuttoned her cute checkered linen top!
If you’re wondering where she got her shirt, she's revealed that it’s from the brand Holiday by Emma Mulholland. It comes as a set with matching drawstring shorts. She even said that it's all she wants to wear while pregnant. LOL! We would’t mind lounging around in these cute and comfy coords all day either, TBH!
