With a steady increase of themed places popping up around Manila, there's bound to be something you have yet to discover. Furthermore, since most of us are still on a high from watching Captain America: Civil War and X-Men: Apocalypse, we've gathered some interesting themed cafés and geek-friendly spots for you to try out. Boasting of elements that range from fun board games to awesome interiors, these places are going to be a cool adventure for you to hop on!

The Nook Café

Located along Maginhawa Street, this café is taking social media by the storm. And why wouldn't it? The Nook Café is every Potterhead's dream come true. It has several board games and books for you to borrow while you sip on some butterbeer. They also have several trinkets and details inside that will immediately remind you of the J.K. Rowling series.

Location: 164-A Maginhawa Street, Sikatuna Village, Quezon City
Operating Hours: 1PM-10PM

Another board game café, this one has a range of sandwiches and pasta for you to try out while you bond with your friends over a game of World of Warcraft. They have a wide collection of games, and the chances of boredom is at its bare minimum. A plus side is that they offer occasional discounts and fun activities on special geek celebrations. Who can resist a Darth Vader Waffle to kick off May Fourth?
