Let’s face it, there’s no better feeling than lounging around with our friends, talking about everything and nothing. How about we amp it up once in a while? Go outdoors and explore the world—while still following safety protocols, of course. When making plans, there’s always the question of what, where, and how, and maybe a distant answer from one of you saying “bahala na,” which is why, to save you time, we’ve prepared a list of fun activities you can try for your next barkada hangout.
5 Exciting Activities to Try With Your Friends:
1. SM Game Park at SM Southmall
SM Southmall just opened the first ever SM Game Park and it’s the perfect spot for a fun day with your friends. It’s jam-packed with activities you'll surely enjoy such as bowling, billiards, archery, table tennis, numerous arcade games, and karaoke booths. Heck, there’s even a UFC gym on the way. If you got excited just by reading that, make sure to call up your BFFs and plan a date to Las Pinas quick!
2. ATV Tours at ATV Adventures
Now, if your friend group is more attuned to the great outdoors, book an ATV tour right now at ATV Adventures and head to Rizal. Drive alongside the hills of the Sierra Madre mountain range and escape the busy roads of the metro. With multiple trails to choose from, you and your friends are in for a wild ride as each tour can range from two to eight hours in duration. However, if that still doesn’t satisfy the adventurer in you, they also offer overnight trails where you can watch the sun rise with your besties over a warm cup of coffee.
You can visit their website to book a reservation and for more information.
3. Trampoline Park at WiiJUMP Philippines
This next location will make every kid at heart ecstatic. The trampoline park located at Festival Supermall in Alabang includes an olympic trampoline area, a ninja course, a foam pit, and a massive free zone area where you can just jump to your heart’s desire. There’s also a basketball and dodgeball area for all the sporty ones out there, but just remember that you’ll be jumping instead of running for this one. In addition to that, this place is also equipped with a cafe just in case you want to sit for a minute and take a breather. Just don’t forget to bring a change of clothes because this date will have you breaking a sweat in no time!
You can visit and DM their Facebook page for any additional info.
4. Museum Dates at the National Museum Complex
For the history buffs, curious creatures, and those who just want a chill day, this one's for you. Explore the major sections of the National Museum Complex in Manila with your barkada, which includes the National Museum of Fine Arts, National Museum of Anthropology, and National Museum of Natural History. The Planetarium, however, is still temporarily closed due to its building being decommissioned, so if you were looking forward to that, I’m afraid you’ll have to wait a little bit longer. But fear not, the other three areas are guaranteed to quench your thirst for knowledge.
Museum jaunts are reminiscent of the school field trips we used to go to as kids and what better way to spend a day with your friends than going on a trip down memory lane. You can visit their website for more information on their COVID-19 protocols before heading out with your squad.
5. Virtual Escape Rooms at Breakout Philippines
Since we’re still going through a global pandemic, we can’t forget about the much safer indoor date option. Luckily, Breakout Philippines has brought the escape room experience to the safety of your own homes. Breakout On Demand can be played remotely anytime with your friends as you all team up to solve various puzzles in order to progress in the game, while in the shoes of your escape room avatars.
