We can't wait!

Olaf, my sweet summer snowman, is finally coming back, along with our favorite sisters looking more badass than ever in the first trailer for Frozen 2. After the first movie raked in about $1.3 billion in the box office and hit multiple milestones, including becoming 2013's highest-grossing film, it's no wonder Disney's still riding on Frozen's fame six years later with a much-awaited sequel. We have to admit, while we're not exactly sure what's going on, Frozen 2's teaser trailer is definitely a looker.

With zero dialogue and a sequence of aesthetic mysterious scenes, the two-minute clip finds our beloved characters seemingly on a mission outside Arrendale. The trailer already speaks for the film's impeccable cinematography. Watch it below and see what we mean!

The teaser starts with Queen Elsa attempting to conquer a barrage of waves, and ultimately failing in the process. Could she be trying to master her powers or is there a bigger plot at hand here? The rest of the trailer hints at Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven on a journey to unchartered orange lands possibly signifying a fall setting. It also includes a brief peek at two new characters who will most likely be voiced by the films latest additions, Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld, Across the Universe) and Sterling K. Brown (Black Panther, This is Us). Oh, and did we mention the possibility of more characters with elemental powers based on the four seasons? Perhaps our misunderstood Ice Queen isn't alone after all.

While it seems Frozen 2 is aiming for a darker tone compared to its first installment, co-director Chris Buck did mention that a more outgoing Elsa will be gracing the big screen soon. "[In Frozen] she had such a dramatic journey, and at the end she's just starting to feel like she can open up and have some fun again. That's what was really good about the short—we could have fun with Elsa. And that will see in the next one," he says in an interview with Fandango.

While there's no official release date yet, Frozen 2 is reportedly coming out in November 2019. Just in time for malls to repeatedly blast their new songs over and over again come Christmas. Will we get yet another viral sensation like Let It Go? We don't know about you but we can't wait to find out!
