They sang the gospel song he composed almost 35 years ago.

Composer-arranger Arnel de Pano, was one of six COVID-19 confirmed patients at the Marikina Valley Medical Center who had recovered from the disease and were discharged last April 3.

Before he left the hospital, the frontliners saw it fit to serenade him with one of his very own songs, "Lead Me Lord."

The viral video was first posted by Charmer Ibones Pasa, a registered nurse at the medical center who posted the short video together with photos as a tribute “for our dear discharged patients for today.”

In the video, Arnel is seen singing a few lines from the song, “Lead Me Lord” originally sung by Basil Valdes, together with four medical frontliners, complete in their personal protective equipment or PPE suits, which include face masks and face shields.
