FRNK, a Japanese milk bar, is known for its handcrafted milk teas that offer healthier milk options like almond milk, oat milk, and brown rice milk. If you havenât paid a visit to one of their shops, FRNK's new branch at SM North EDSA offers an expanded menu of different pastries. FRNK also has new items on the menu: gluten-free, low-calorie doughnuts.
They have three new doughnuts in the FRNK Bake Bar: Kokoa Sesame Doughnut (P85) that puts the spotlight on the flavor of black sesame; Spiced Cinnamon Doughnut (P80) which highlights the sweet and earthy taste of cinnamon black tea; while the Dirty Matcha Doughnut (P80) uses their signature matcha from Uji Kyoto.
These aren't your typical doughnuts as FRNK's version is a baked doughnut that's denser, almost like a fudgy cake, plus they were made to compliment FRNKâs craft milk drinks. The recommended way is to pair the Kokoa Sesame Doughnut with the Kokoa Milk Chocolate, the Spiced Cinnamon Doughnut with the Cinnamon Miruku drink, and the Dirty Matcha Doughnut with the Dirty Matcha drink.
