Soon-to-be 18-year-old Francine Diaz has accomplished quite a lot for someone in their teen years. Post-Kadenang Ginto, she's been starring in more teleseryes, posing for local brand campaigns, and running her own YouTube channel. Amidst all this though, the actress is still, in fact, a student, and she's admitted to how hard it's been to juggle school with everything else on her plate.

"Parang nawawala yung focus ko sa school at ang hirap n'yang ibalik," Francine shares on an episode of morning talk show Magandang Buhay. ICYDK, the star is enrolled at the Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities (abbreviated as SISFU) under the Accountancy and Business Management Strand of their senior high school.

Even with the online set-up that schools operate on nowadays, it's still a challenge for Francine to keep her studies on track. "Kunwari, one week na hiningi ko for school, feel na feel ko na inspired ako, motivated ako, lahat ng oras ko nandoon sa pagaaral, tapos [magkakaroon ng] lock-in [taping]," she recounts.
Right after studying something for class, Francine would then devote her time to close-reading a script (or vice versa), which inevitably makes things even more mentally challenging for her. She says that, "parang naghahalo-halo na siya kaya minsan [nawawala] na."

Thankfully though, she has her siblings, particularly her elder sister Chantal, to fall back on when she requires help. Whether Francine is in need of someone to check the grammar of her essay, or to simply cheer her up, they're always there for her. "Kahit 'di ko sabihin na malungkot ako, nandiyan sila para pasayahin ako," the 17-year-old expresses, "siguro dahil magkapatid, yung connection feel na, parang automatic."
