Missed the 68th Emmy Awards' live broadcast? Here's a quick catch-up with what went down during American primetime TV's biggest award show:
1. Kerry Washington was hailed the new queen of maternity dressing.
Viewers at home and social media were floored by this Scandal star's red carpet moment. She was undoubtedly the queen of the night in her floor-length Brandon Maxwell gown that showed off her baby bump through strategic and sophisticated cutouts. Add her decision to wear her hair au naturel and her glowing skin to the mix and you have the Emmys' best-dressed star. Period.
2. The Stranger Things kids owned the show.
Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Millie Bobby Brown were fun-sized red carpet royalties. Caleb was in a custom Eaden Myles tux, Millie was in Valentino Red, and as for Gaten, he answers the "who are you wearing" question in the best way possible here.
But the fun these kids brought to the event didn't end there. They crashed the Emmys pre-show stage by showing off their performance skills and rocking out to Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk.
3. Jimmy Kimmel handed out PB&J sandwiches to the audience.
Remember when Ellen Degeneres gave away free pizza at the Oscars two years ago? Well, Jimmy Kimmel paid homage to it by tossing 7,000 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the famished Emmys audience. He even got help from the kids to distribute!
4. The award winners and nominees were more diverse than the Oscars.
The hashtag #EmmysSoDiverse cannot get any more accurate, because the awards show rightfully recognized many talented people of color this year. For one, the gorgeous Regina King knocked it out of the park with her Outstanding Supporting Actress trophy for her role in American Crime.
