This Filipina Influencer Sent Bread as a Wedding Invite—and It’s Gone Viral
Jaz Reyes is proof that a bride shouldn't settle for a half-baked idea for her special day!
Wedding invites are often expected to be a formal affair. Think fancy embossed cards with a curated color palette, engraved, tied with a ribbon, and maybe perfumed for good measure. But for Filipina host/content creator Jazmin Reyes and her soon-to-be-husband Miguel Sotto, that tradition was meant to be toasted—and we mean literally.

Jazmin Reyes and Miguel Sotto's Creative Wedding Invitation
In the days leading up to their wedding, Jaz and Miguel made headlines (or should we say breadlines) for their refreshingly offbeat wedding invitation: a literal loaf of bread. Yes, you read that right.
Guests were surprised to receive freshly baked loaves in lieu of the usual paper suite, with all the event details cleverly printed on the bread’s minimalist packaging. The idea, conceptualized with Bridal Brand Book and executed in collaboration with Daniel Baker, has since captured the internet’s imagination—and appetite—earning features on several international platforms.

In her Instagram post, Jaz admitted she was initially nervous about how their non-traditional invite would be received, particularly by their older guests, "because it isn’t your normal paper invitations"—but turned out they were actually the biggest fans of the edible invitation. "The past few days, it’s been so fun receiving messages and reactions on how our guests plan to eat their invites,” she wrote.
And it wasn’t just the guests who were impressed. Jaz’s comment section was quickly flooded with positive feedback, with her friends and followers hailing the bread invite as a genius and refreshingly creative take on wedding traditions.

The loaf of bread, tied with a delicate lace ribbon for that extra charming touch, was a thoughtful gesture that made their wedding invitation interactive, memorable, and, quite literally, digestible. Jaz also credited the smooth delivery process, ensuring the loaves arrived fresh and ready to munch on while RSVP-ing.
What a genius (and delicious) idea! Congratulations and best wishes, Jaz and Miguel!
