Would You Try the World's Most Expensive Coffee for P57,600 a Cup?
Yes, that’s per cup, not per kilo!

Leave it to Dubai to make even coffee a luxury experience. Julith Coffee, a roastery and café tucked inside Al Quoz, has started serving what’s currently considered the world’s most valuable brew: the Nido 7 Geisha, priced at AED 3,600 (around P57,600) per cup.
What Is the Nido 7 Geisha?
According to AFP, Julith bought the Panamanian beans at the 2025 Best of Panama Auction for about AED 2.2 million (around P35 million), the highest price ever paid for coffee. Only 20 kilograms of the Nido 7 Geisha exist worldwide, with a portion reserved for Dubai’s ruling family. Co-founder Serkan Sagsoz told AFP the café plans to serve around 400 cups of the rare brew, describing it as “like honey, delicate and sweet,” with notes of jasmine, citrus, apricot, and peach.

In the world of specialty coffee, the Geisha varietal is already revered for its clarity, florals, and tea-like delicacy. But Nido 7 Geisha sits in a league of its own. Grown on the high-altitude slopes of Panama’s Nido Estate, the microlot was produced in such small quantities that only a few roasters even had the chance to bid on it.
It went on to score 98 points at the 2025 Best of Panama competition—the highest in the event’s history—with six of 12 judges giving it a perfect 100. Tasting notes describe it as “elegant, complex, and endlessly layered,” with bright florals, stone fruit, and a sweetness that lingers like fine wine. Its distinct flavor comes down to where it’s grown, high in Panama’s volcanic slopes, where the plants grow slowly and in limited quantities.
