With season deux in the works, it's clear that actress Lily Collins is currently filming Emily in Paris around one of the most beautiful countries in the world. But knowing how huge France is, it is almost like fate that Leona Diaz, a Filipina based in France, lives in the same area where the Netflix comedy-hit series film shoot is taking place. ICYMI, she recently met the lovely actress on her way home! In her latest Tiktok video, Leona shares her experience meeting Collins at Les Deux Magots, the same French cafe that appeared in the show, Cafe de Flore. She tells Preview, "The excitement I felt yesterday when I saw her is unexplainable. It's a feeling of completeness in my Emily in Paris journey. She was so kind, too!"
In fact, before she met Lily, she went viral on Facebook back in 2020 after posting an album of her recreating scenes from Emily in Paris by visiting some of the show's filming locations. With the help of her partner, the photoshoot easily took place because—quite literally—they're already living inside the set! "For now, my husband and I are incorporating our love of taking photos into our photography business, Vbrncy Productions," Leona shares with Preview. There's no denying that this couple continues to spend their romantic strolls in Paris while reliving Emily Cooper's fabulous life!

Among all the marvelous streets she mentioned, Leona shares that Rue de l'Abbaye has the most significance to her. "I can easily say every single one is my favorite but if I were to really pick one, it would be Rue de l'Abbaye. I walk through this street whenever I am on my way home. There's just something about it that makes me feel nostalgic." We can only dream of waking up and sleeping in the City of Light. "My favorite thing about living in Paris is that every street is very instagrammable and holds so much history behind them. For all the people who are dreaming of living in France, especially in Paris, don't rush things. Trust God and maging masipag to pursue your dreams."
While we all wait for Emily's return, you can start learning the different sides to the city of Paris (aside from the Eiffel Tower of course!) by following Leona's Tiktok, @leondiaz19, and her Instagram, @leona.diaz.
Excuse us so when we come back we can speak French, too! Au revoir!
