We’ve raved about Family Mart’s Onigiri, and for good reason. These nori-wrapped rice balls with various savory fillings make for a great on-the-go snack or light meal. Missing these treats? You can now get them delivered straight to your doorstep, along with other Family Mart meals.
You can place your orders by sending a message to Family Mart’s Facebook page, visiting their delivery website, contacting them at 0917-621-6758, or sending them an email. You then have the option of having onigiri delivered through Family Mart’s delivery service (this is applicable for Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasay, Pasig, Pateros, Quezon City, and Taguig) for P80, or booking your own courier, such as Grab or Lalamove. From there, you can pay via GCash, Alipay, or BDO or BPI bank transfer. Note that orders are processed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and orders received outside those hours will be scheduled for delivery the next day.
For a classically Japanese bite, try the Salmon (P55), Tuna Mayo (P55), or Tori Mix (P55) variations—they deliver big on the umami and are an easy way to quench those Japanese-food hankerings. Want to try something different? Go for the Spam (P55) variation, which will remind you of Hawaiian Spam musubi. Better yet, go for the more Filipino-inspired Tinapa (P55) variant, where the smokiness of the fish matches the natural umami of the seaweed.
Still hungry? Family Mart also delivers other Japanese eats, like the umami-filled Crispy Chicken Teriyaki Bento (P165) and ready-to-heat Tonkotsu Ramen (P155). They also have Filipino food, including Pork Binagoongan (P165) and Chicken Barbecue (P155), as well as frozen items from Conti's, like their creamy, cheesy Lasagna (P300).
Family Mart is a Japanese convenience store franchise—the second-largest convenience store retail chain in the world, in fact—that was established in 1973. They have over 18,000 stores in Asia, including Taiwan, Thailand, China, Indonesia, and of course, the Philippines.
