The luxuries of a plane's first-class cabin might already seem crazy, but it's definitely not the ultimate when it comes to air travel. On Etihad Airways' largest passenger aircraft, you'll find the most expensive plane seat in the world. It's called The Residence.
According to the airline, The Residence "continues Etihad Airways’ tradition of service and hospitality, offering the latest in-flight entertainment systems, reimagined seats and cabins, the finest dining and impeccable service." Here's a look inside the world's most expensive plane seat.
The Residence is a three-room suite on the world's largest passenger airliner.
It can only be found on Etihad's A380, and is available on flights from Abu Dhabi to London, Melbourne, Sydney, Mumbai, and New York.
The whole flight is an experience from start to finish.
Booking The Residence gives you access to the VIP Travel Concierge, plus a chauffer-driven limousine, private entrance, private airport lounge, and more.
One of the main highlights of The Residence is the butler.
Onboard, the Savoy Hotel-trained butler takes care of everything, from the arrangements to the inflight itinerary.
The cabin is much like a hotel room.
You'll find touch-screen television screens, a double bed, and a private bathroom. Not to mention, an on-board chef and a nanny service for kids.
Guests also have access to a lobby.
Located on the upper deck, The Lobby is a hotel-inspired meeting place that doubles as a space for entertainment.
Prices for The Residence start at over P1,000,000.
