The Making of Rocio Zobel's December 2025 Cover
Here's how we produced her dreamy Preview cover!

Published on Dec 18, 2025
For our December 2025 cover, Preview joined forces with the team over at Belo Medical Group. Gracing this month’s cover is none other than Rocio Zobel, the newest face of the clinic’s Neurocosmetics treatments.
Two years after being named among Preview’s Best Dressed, Rocio returns to our digital pages—this time as the magazine’s December cover star.
“I still remember how the team was just in awe because she genuinely had no bad frame,” recalls Editor-in-Chief Marj Ramos-Clemente, reflecting on Rocio and Preview's first shoot together. “Two years later, having her back in the studio—this time for a cover as the new face of Belo Beauty—felt like a full circle moment,” she adds.

“Rocio is our modern day muse, but in a way that feels fun, curious and real—not overly perfect,” shares Associate Creative Director Jana Jodloman, who also happens to be directing her very first cover shoot.
To translate that vision, the editorial team enlisted the help of production designer Justine Arcega-Bumanlag to construct a fairytale-inspired bedroom set. Alongside her set design crew, Ms. J assembled a miniature dollhouse world—complete with scaled-down furniture and a moody-dream-like atmosphere.
“She moves through these tiny surreal spaces in a way that makes beauty feel less polished and more like something that’s always changing,” Jana notes.
Spanning four different layouts and five outfit changes, that sense of carefree, childlike ease was perfectly captured by photographer Borgy Angeles. The team of stylists from Stylized Studio, led by Jolo Bartolo, dressed Rocio in a series of romantic and feminine pieces by Filipino designers such as Andrea Tetangco, Vania Romoff, Steph Verano, Inigo Villegas, Jun Escario, and Rhett Eala.
“Since this is my second editorial with Rocio, I kinda wanted to do something different for her—more volume, and then more playful in terms of colors,” Jolo explains.

The Belo team was all hands on deck in helping the editorial team bring the vision to life. In fact, Dr. Hayden Kho himself was present to support! “What was exciting about this one was actually being able to bring their vision [to life], and to collaborate with them, and Preview-fying that vision,” Managing Editor Reg Rodriguez muses.

Over in the glam department, Preview tapped industry veterans such as makeup artist Denise Ochoa and hairstylist Brent Sales.
With Rocio’s skin already judiciously maintained by Belo, the approach focused on simply enhancing her natural glow. As beauty assistant Kyla Villena explains, the looks “focused on adding shimmer in her eyes and her corners, and on the highpoints of her face. It was like an elevated ‘no makeup’ makeup look,” she adds.
