The Making of Gabbi Garcia's March 2025 Preview Cover

"Preview has always been part of Gabbi's journey in show business, that's why we wanted to go further with her as she goes beyond acting," Creative Director Bacs Arcebal said, referencing the actress' transition into hosting. She shares that the overall concept revolves around Gabbi traveling and going somewhere, hence the hitch-hiking and gasoline station references depicted in the photos lensed by Alexis Dave Co. 

To bring this vision to life, the team set out to find a location that felt like the middle of nowhere by driving around Bulacan. What was supposed to be just a gasoline pump became a full-blown gas station set with a vintage car by Creative 25 2023 honorees Miguel Alomajan and Rocky Legaspi of Rocketsets. It looked so realistic that cars were actually lining up, thinking it was real!

Strengthening the theme of voyage, the team pulled out pieces from Louis Vuitton, a heritage house that was built on the art of travel. "We really wanted to come up with looks that feel more sophisticated and elevated," Paulina Singh, Editorial Assistant for Fashion shared. "We wanted to match the tones of the setting of the shoot, so we stuck with browns with pops of reds, neutral colors like grays, blacks, and whites, and we played around with those." 

"Integral also to this cover shoot were the luggage and Louis Vuitton's new line of bags, specifically their new Side Trunks," she also added.

No Preview cover is complete without a fashion film, and our March cover went a little meta to drive the cover's message further. "We wanted to show the different versions of Gabbi—past, present, and future, existing together in one timeline," Associate Multimedia Director Jana Jodloman explained. "It's about her embracing every part of who she's been and who she's becoming, showing that identity isn't fixed but constantly evolving." 

This sentiment resonated through the cover story, with Editorial Assistant for Entertainment and cover story writer Em Enriquez poignantly looking back to the first time they worked together. They shared that while Gabbi has grown into her own skin, she remains the same down-to-earth personality they first met at the January 2022 cover shoot. "I think at this stage in her career, Gabbi Garcia is really concerned about being her best self—and being her best self entails just being herself honestly."
