Cristine Reyes has always kept it real on social media. In a recent carousel post, she once again caught the admiration of netizens for uploading “unfiltered” photos of herself with the caption, “tahimik, pero totoo.”

The images show Cristine serenely looking ahead while seated in a one-piece swimsuit. Based off the tagged location, she seemed to be on vacation in La Union at a private villa called The Nordic House.

Cristine has never been shy about posting herself bare on the internet, literally and figuratively, whether it's about her body image, motherhood, or mental health.

In the past, she’s openly talked about the latter, even giving her followers a glimpse at her healing journey while on a wellness retreat in 2024. Back then, she talked about how the emotional stress she experienced brought on a number of health challenges, including a disc bulge, alopecia areata, emergency delivery, meningitis, and early detection of cancerous cells.

Thanks to her much needed getaway, she was able to find peace and mental clarity while rediscovering the things she loves. "From childhood to adulthood, I continually struggled to find a safe space. However, I have now overcome these obstacles and found myself dancing, writing, and smiling once again,” she wrote.
