Namtan is a Cancer

Namtan was born Tipnaree Weerawatnodom on July 1, 1996 in the Ayutthaya province of Thailand. She's the younger sister of national football team member Narubadin Weerawatnodom. Fun fact: Her nickname directly translates to "sugar" or "sweet" in Thai!

Namtan is a fine arts graduate

Namtan completed her high school studies at Chomsurang Upatham School in Ayutthaya before relocating to Bangkok. In the capital, she attended the Faculty of Fine Arts at Srinakharinwirot University, graduating in 2018. On her graduation day, she held a grand fan gathering—an event quite common among celebrities in Thailand.

Namtan began her acting career in 2013

In 2013, Namtan launched her on-screen career as a TV host on the variety show Strawberry Krubcake. She then went on to play both supporting and lead roles in series such as Slam Dance (2017), Friend Zone (2018), and Love Beyond Frontier (2019). Throughout her filmography, she has portrayed two sets of dual characters: Meen and Mind in the academia-themed drama Who Are You (2020), and Ai-oon and Oaboom in the Girls’ Love series Pluto (2024).

She has been nominated twice for Best Actress at the Asian Television Awards, for her work in Who Are You (2020) and Last Twilight (2023).

Namtan is in a Girls' Love team with Film Rachanun

Namtan’s on-screen partnership with Film Rachanun catapulted them both into global adoration. The pair first showcased their chemistry in Pluto (2024), which was further strengthened by joint concerts and international fan meetings. They are set to reprise their love team in Girl Rules, expected to premiere in 2025.

Namtan is a global fashion ambassador

In the 12 years she's spent in the industry, Namtam has been a trusted representative for luxury labels within and beyond Thailand. In recent times, she's posed in campaigns for Gucci, Gentle Monster, and Louis Vuitton. Her biggest splash in the style circuit to date was when she sat front row at the Prada SS 2026 show, sharing seats with fellow Thai ambassador Win Metawin. A new Prada girlie is in town!
