Did You Know? PBB's Mikee Quintos Was Named After Robbie Jaworski's Mom

Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Collab Edition 3.0 premiered just last October 24, and the housemates are already starting to form meaningful connections with one another. Case in point: Actress Mikee Quintos and actor Robbie Jaworski recently discovered a happy coincidence that brought them together.

Mikee and Robbie were assigned a secret mission by Kuya, which required them to find a hidden task letter without getting caught by their fellow housemates. While the mission helped bring them closer as “Ka-Collabs,” the two had already discovered a surprising connection earlier in the season.

During a casual conversation on their first night in the house, Robbie pointed out that Mikee shared the same name as his mother. Curious, Mikee asked who his mother was, prompting Robbie to reveal that she's none other than Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski. As it turns out, Mikee was actually named after her!

Mikee Quintos was born in 1997, when Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski was a familiar face in Philippine sports and entertainment. She appeared in numerous films, television shows, and commercials and was also known for her singing career. Beyond show business, Mikee represented the Philippines as an accomplished equestrian competing internationally. A true multi-hyphenate, she was an It girl in her own right.

Her accomplishments extend well beyond the 1990s. In 2020, she became the first Asian woman to be elected to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board.

Despite the coincidence, Mikee Quintos and Robbie Jaworski didn't know each other before entering the PBB house. Since then, Mikee has also begun noticing the resemblance between Robbie and his mother.
