Who Is Ian Mark Kamangkang? Meet the Internet’s Viral “Pitik Queen”

If you’ve spent enough time scrolling through reels or TikTok, chances are you’ve encountered the internet’s latest breakout dance personality: Ian Mark Kamangkang.

Dubbed the “Pitik Queen,” the Filipino creator has earned widespread attention for his signature “pitik with soft moves.” In just a month, his rising popularity has already led to television guestings, bar appearances, and a growing list of brand collaborations.

Yet beyond the viral clips and his signature high-waisted OOTDs, there’s more to Ian Mark than meets the eye.

Now 33 years old, Ian Mark celebrates his birthday every January 30th.

Ian Mark is a proud member of the T’Boli ethnic group. Through his day job, he actively advocates for the preservation and promotion of his community’s arts and culture.

Outside of creating dance content, Ian Mark reports to work as a secretary to the school president of Santa Cruz Mission School Inc. (SCMSI) in South Cotabato.

Prior to his current role, he taught tribal education as both a college instructor and a junior high school teacher. As a member of the T’Boli community, his lessons are often centered on their community's traditions, culture, and belief systems.

In an episode of Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, Ian Mark shared that he supported his two younger siblings, both of whom have already finished their studies.

With a steady stream of endorsements, Ian Mark allocates a portion of his earnings to outreach initiatives that support underserved communities.

His online following continues to grow across platforms. On TikTok, he has reached 309,000 followers and accumulated over 11.4 million likes across his content. Meanwhile, his Instagram audience has climbed to 12,600 followers in just a few weeks.
