Who Is Freen Sarocha?

1. Freen is a Leo.

Freen was born Sarocha Chankimha in Bangkok, Thailand on August 8, 1998. She accomplished her high school studies at the La Salle School Bangkok before enrolling into Rangsit University as a communication arts student. In 2022, she graduated with a degree in public relations and corporate communications.

2. Freen began her career after joining Miss Teen Thailand.

Freen's entry into show business began as early as her adolescent years when she joined Miss Teen Thailand in 2016. After finishing as one of the top 15 finalists of the pageant, she auditioned at various talent agencies before eventually signing with Idol Factory. Her first on-screen credit was for a music video to the song Before Rain by Thai recording artists The Toys. Eventually, the newbie made her TV debut with the 2021 romantic comedy So Fit.

3. Freen rose to fame through Girls' Love series.

Freen's claim to fame was her leading role in Gap, a 2022 series she starred in alongside Becky Armstrong. The show broke new ground as Thailand's first-ever Girls' Love series, which amplified its success and positive reception from fans across the world. The #FreenBecky phenomenon resulted in numerous accolades for both actresses, such as Couple of the Year and Best Actress wins at the Kazz Awards. The partnership of the two also led to more projects, namely 2024 releases The Loyal Pin and Uranus 2324.

4. Freen is an ambassador of Valentino.

Early this 2025, Freen was officially inducted into the House of Valentino as a global ambassador. Significantly, she's the first female personality from Thailand to gain such a title, joining fellow Thai representative Jeff Satur.

Of her appointment, Freen expressed that, "It is my greatest honor to take part in turning the next page of Maison Valentino’s history, where artistry and heritage enter a new contemporary era under the visionary creative director Alessandro Michele." Prior to joining the house, the actress made her Paris Fashion Week debut at the Italian label's SS 2025 show.

5. Freen was the first Thai actress to attend the MET Gala.

A pioneer woman in more ways than one, Freen was also the first-ever Thai actress to step foot on the blue carpet of the MET Gala. With a seat at the Valentino table, she attended the 2025 edition of the global fashion soiree and fundraiser, contributing to the $19.5 million media impact value generated by the brand. To the event, she interpreted the "Tailored for You" theme in a fur-trimmed jacket and tiered skirt, accented by a baby pink bow.
