Francine Diaz returns to afternoon prime time with her role in Sins of the Father. Sharing the screen with Gerald Anderson, Jessy Mendiola, and her love team partner Seth Fedelin, the actress plays Arissa, an illegitimate child of a man with a troubled reputation. The Gen Z star shows her growth, embracing a more mature and serious disposition as she navigates her character's journey.
In a recent episode, Arissa was seen out on the streets with her essentials stowed away in heavy luggage. While she may be in turmoil, viewers couldn't help but point out the visual tribute to one of Francine's past fictional relatives. It seems to be true that once a Mondragon, always a Mondragon!

Upon unearthing childhood trauma, Arissa seeks independence and makes her way down a street. Lugging a hand-carry and a trolley, she causes a bit of traffic as cars pass by. The snapshot of Francine walking with her baggage drew comparisons from netizens to Daniela Mondragon, her twisted sister from the 2019 drama Kadenang Ginto.
Portrayed by Dimples Romana, the character went viral at the time for fiercely stomping down the road in a fiery red dress, with matching luggage in tow. Intentional or not, Arissa’s moment served as a nostalgic callback to one of Francine’s most iconic projects. A Facebook post by ABS-CBN placed the two scenes side by side, garnering thousands of reactions and comments from longtime fans.
