Formula 1 (F1) is widely regarded as the pinnacle of motorsport. Every year, teams, drivers, and fans travel across the globe to witness cutting-edge technology and extraordinary displays of physical and mental endurance in action. Given the sport's exclusivity and the costs of attending a race, experiencing the spectacle firsthand is a privilege in itself.

Beyond the high-speed action, F1 has also become something of a fashion spectacle. Celebrities and special guests are often invited into exclusive team garages and hospitality suites, where their outfits can command just as much attention as the race itself. In Southeast Asia, Singapore remains the only country to host an F1 Grand Prix (GP), having recently held its 2026 edition from October 9 to 11 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Among those who made their way to the event were several Filipino celebrities and personalities, who brought their own sense of style to the paddock.

The Filipino Personalities at Singapore’s F1 Weekend

Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis attended the event as Moët & Chandon’s Friend of the House, alongside Thai actor Bible Wichapas Sumettikul. The Filipina actress also had the honor of inscribing the name of race winner Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing on the champagne house’s celebratory wall.

For the occasion, Anne opted for a red version of the sleek Mark Bumgarner dress she previously wore during her European travels earlier this year. She completed the look with jewelry from Tiffany & Co. Elsewhere during the F1 weekend, she stepped out in a Louis Vuitton ensemble, which she layered with a denim jacket customized for the Moët & Chandon team.

Sofia Andres

Cheering for McLaren were Sofia Andres and her partner, racecar driver Daniel Miranda, who met 2025 World Champion Lando Norris. For the occasion, Sofia wore her Puma Speedcat OGs, a fitting choice given the silhouette’s origins as fire-resistant footwear designed for Formula 1 drivers in 1999. Known for her penchant for feminine dressing, she paired the sporty sneakers with a peplum top and a ruffled maxi skirt, striking a playful balance between athletic and romantic elements.
