Over the past week, Kapuso actor David Licauco spent time under Kuya's surveillance inside the Pinoy Big Brother house. Viewers got to see another side to the nation's gentleman as he showed off his domestic side alongside this season's housemates. Upon his exit, David penned a short reflection on his experience, revealing that he was actually slated to take part in the reality show not once, but twice.

After his short but sweet stay inside the iconic yellow house, David recounted how he actually auditioned to be a housemate a decade ago. "Wow. Crazy to think I once lined up for PBB auditions in 2014... and years later, I got to be a houseguest."

The heartthrob professed that his experience wasn't what he initially expected, writing: "It was different from what I imagined—may magic talaga sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya. I may have been quiet, but I learned a lot about myself. Truth is, no one really knows what it’s like inside unless you’ve lived it."

He listed down some of the things he'll miss from the house, including "Ate Klang’s ulam, Ralph’s rice, and Esnyr’s ice cream." Before concluding his caption, he mentioned that he was actually slated to be an official housemate earlier this year.

"To everyone who supported, thank you. (Sa mga naboringan sakin, sorry na po! And to the housemates—thank you for the warm welcome, solid convos, and syempre, the best food... Fun fact: I was actually considered to be a housemate earlier this year."

While he wasn't launched in Kuya's roster this season, David has still had quite an eventful 2025. The year kicked off with a slew of travels, followed by runway appearances and the premiere of his comedy movie Samahan Ng Mga Makasalanan. Later this year, he's expected to join forces with love team partner Barbie Forteza for their next on-screen projects.
