Make way for a new queen: Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province has officially clinched the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 crown. The beauty queen succeeds Chelsea Manalo, who held the title in 2024.

Held on May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, the coronation night drew a packed crowd of supporters and fans. Emerging victorious after an intense evening of competition, Ahtisa stood out in the final round where she was asked: “They say that a good leader leads by example. Tell us about one event in your life when you lived by example and the impact it made.”

“I fell a while ago on stage. And the thing with me is, whenever I fall in life, I always make sure I come back stronger. Last year, I was here on this stage, and for the second time this year, I'm here putting everything on this stage to be Miss Universe Philippines because this is my and my grandmother's shared dream, and she passed away early this year. And this is my ode to her.”

Joining her in the final six were Chelsea Fernandez of Sultan Kudarat, Yllana Marie Aduana of Siniloan, Laguna, Winwyn Marquez of Muntinlupa, Katrina Llegado of Taguig, and Gabriella Mai Carballo of Cebu City.
The 2025 titleholder will represent the Philippines at the 74th Miss Universe competition, to be held on November 21 in Pak Kret, Thailand. There, she’ll strive to earn the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown, following Chelsea Manalo’s historic win as Miss Universe Asia in 2024, one of the pageant's inaugural continental queens.
