Hold on to your hearts, ladies because Korean acting heartthrobs Cha Eun Woo and Lee Jong Suk are finally sharing a screen together! The two are set to feature in the upcoming action film Decibel, alongside L.U.C.A.: The Beginning star Kim Rae Won.
The movie, which began filming last April 20, will follow a group of people as they race to stop a bomb found at the center of a city from exploding. Rae Won leads the lineup as a Navy commander intent on halting the terrorist attack after experiencing a similar incident in a submarine one year ago.
Meanwhile, Jong Suk plays a Navy captain “who is fiercely loyal to the crew of his submarine.” Decibel is his first big project ever since he was discharged from the military last January. Cha Eun Woo, on the other hand, makes his major big screen debut as a young and determined sailor who’s in charge of sonar detection.
Rounding up the star-studded lineup are Jung Sang Hoon (My Husband Oh Jak Doo), Park Byung Eun (Because This Is My First Life, Kingdom), Lee Sang Hee (Our Love Story, One Spring Night), and Jo Dal Hwan (The Beauty Inside, Justice). Lastly, helming Decibel is director Hwang In Ho, best known for his work in Son Ye Jin’s romantic comedy film Spellbound, and the action-thriller movie Monster.
No word yet on when the film is projected for release but we’re keeping our finger’s crossed that it comes to an available streaming platform in our country!
