It’s only the first quarter of the year but certainly a lot has already happened for Manila’s music scene. On March 5, Seth Cohen’s childhood heroes, Death Cab for Cutie, will possess your heart as they take to the stage their pulsing beats at Wanderland 2016.
Yes, that’s right. Exactly four years after their last concert here in Manila, the three-man collision of Ben Gibbard (vocals, guitar, piano), Nick Harmer (bass), and Jason McGerr (drums) returns to our shores as they perform tracks from their eighth studio album Kintsugii and share the stage with indie bands Bon Iver, San Cisco, and The Naked And Famous at the Globe Circuit Grounds. Surely, it’s an event that shouldn’t be missed, especially if you’re a die-hard fan the OC.
This year’s lineup also includes local acts CRWN, Jess Connelly, Jensen and The Flips, and Cheats among others, gearing to take you out of this world with the music festival’s outer space theme.
So if you haven’t called shotgun on those tickets yet, now would be the time to do so. Hurry before they run out!
We’ll see you in outer space!
