The wait is almost over, Darna fans! After almost three years of anticipation, we're finally about to see Jane De Leon in the iconic red and gold costume. To get viewers even more excited, the show revealed its official teaser poster last July 6, and it got everyone on the internet talking in no time.

Depicting what seems to be the aftermath of an intense face-off, Darna can be seen soaring towards the sky, with a snake slithering towards her. In true Filipino fashion, among the wreckage she's leaving is the image of a broken-down jeepney.
Netizens couldn't help but get goosebumps after laying their eyes on the poster. "Lilipad na talaga sya!!" one person tweeted in excitement.
Upon more thorough perusal, you can see that the broken structure framing Darna in the sky actually resembles her iconic headdress! Talk about attention to detail!
The person responsible for the stellar poster is graphic designer Justin Besana, who's regularly been tapped by ABS-CBN to create promotional materials for their shows. Some of his past works include the official posters of The Broken Marriage Vow, Flower of Evil, and Kun Maupay Man It Panahon. Of course, netizens made sure to give credit where credit is due, and applauded Justin for yet another masterpiece.
Meanwhile, the cameo of the snake seemed to have also ignited frenzy among Janella Salvador's fans who are just as excited to see her embody the villainous Valentina. Count us in Team Valentina, too, please!
The official trailer for the TV series premieres on July 7, 2022. ABS-CBN has stated that it's their biggest undertaking this year, so we're surely in for a spectacular show!
