Engaged couple Bryan Labing and Pink Zamora have every obstacle keeping them from being together. Aside from having a global lockdown to worry about, they also happen to live miles away from each other. While Bryan’s an architect based in Singapore, Pink, on the other hand, works here in the Philippines. Still, despite the obvious roadblocks, this couple of 11 years found a way to meet each other in photos, by shooting their wedding prenup while stuck in quarantine.
“We wanted to make the most out of our time while on ECQ,” Bryan tells Preview. “We do not want to be consumed with all the negativity because of the pandemic and instead decided to focus on what we can accomplish despite the lockdown.”
How can a long distance prenup work exactly? The idea for it was simple enough. Two phones propped up together with Bryan and Pink caught up in a Zoom video call. It perfectly depicts a modern love story in the time of a worldwide pandemic, resulting in a set of images that we're sure lot of lovebirds can definitely relate to right now.
Bryan credits the ingenious concept to Carlo Pilongo of Luminara Photo as he recounts the shoot for Preview. “The preparation for this shoot was pretty fast. We just wore black shirts, and posed by empty walls,” he recalls. “All we needed was a stable internet connection. The instructions were given on the spot via Zoom video call. We only had an hour to finish everything. I guess it could have been faster if not for the erratic internet connection but I believe it was pulled off. Our natural reaction somehow added authenticity to the photos. Mukha talagang nagvi-video call lang! Kudos to Carlo for his patience."

Bryan and Pink plan on having another prenup shoot once the lockdown has been lifted. Their wedding is slated for the first quarter of 2021.
