Everyone has that one Starbucks default order they've got memorized like the palm of their hand, no matter how obnoxiously long, like an "Iced, Half Caff, Ristretto, Venti, 4-Pump, Sugar Free, Cinnamon, Dolce Soy Skinny Latte, upside—" well, you get the point. Most of us thrive in the comfort of familiarity, which leads us time and again to our go-to coffee drink like clockwork.
However, a little experiment never hurt anyone. If you're thinking of deviating from routine and trying something new for once, why not cop the go-to Starbucks drinks of today's cool kids? They're guaranteed to satisfy, and there's even something for non-coffee drinkers!
The Drink: Iced Matcha Latte with Soy Milk
"I’m not a big coffee drinker but I love matcha! I get it with soy because I’m lactose intolerant. LOL!"
The Drink: Green Tea Latte or Chai Tea Latte
"I used to not drink coffee so whenever I was with friends in Starbucks, I would look for tea options instead. Chai tea latte was my first go-to, then after getting addicted to green tea lattes in Japan, green tea became my go-to drink as well."
Renee de Guzman
The Drink: Ice Shaken Black Tea with two pumps of strawberry syrup
“It’s refreshing, especially on a hot day!”
The Drink: Grande Cold Brew with three pumps of white mocha, no milk
“I like my coffee sweet and strong (like me) and it keeps me up all day. But since I’m a coffee addict I would need two. Haha.”
KC del Rosario
The Drink: Soy Chai Latte, no sugar, always hot
"I like that it’s sweet and aromatic. It lowers your blood sugar and boosts your heart health. I loathe Frappuccinos, LOVE iced Americanos, but the soy chai is my go-to."
The Drink: Iced Americano Grande with five brown sugar
"Because I love how it keeps me alive with even [with] just a few sips!"
The Drink: Hot Soy Vanilla Latte.
"Why? Because it’s really good, and I love sweet [drinks]."
The Drink: Free ice water and a banana
"Because I don’t drink coffee."
