In times of uncertainty, it’s easy to get restless—especially when you’re told to just stay home. But sticking to the community quarantine isn’t all you can do now—you can always help out our frontliners without leaving your house. There are apps that allow you to donate via rewards or points to organizations and healthcare facilities, while companies like CloudEats prepare meals for frontliners—and you can help fund their efforts. You can donate anywhere between 10 meals (P648) to 1000 meals (P64,800) on their website.

This food-drive initiative, which started on March 21, delivers two meals to medical staff, local government units, and other frontliners in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. As of today, March 25, they've raised enough money to provide well over 36,000 meals from 307 donors, serving at least 25 hospitals, including but not limited to Makati Medical Center and Philippine General Hospital. They make zero profit from this initiative.
CloudEats is a cloud kitchen, a subgenre of restaurant that saw a boom in 2019, though the concept can be traced as far back as 2016; think of it like the culinary equivalent of AirBnB. Also called a "virtual kitchen" by some, they have no brick-and-mortar store apart from a commissary, and rely entirely on delivery orders.
