If you’re looking for optimum luck this 2019, why not welcome Chinese New Year with good company and a happy stomach? Below, we’ve rounded up a selection of hotel dinner deals that offer authentic Chinese cuisine at its finest in celebration of the Year of the Pig, tikoy included.

City of Dreams

Dine with your friends and family at the Crystal Dragon. You’ll have a number of delicacies to choose from, including the Six-Course Happiness Set Menu or the Seven-Course Magnificent Set Menu. Both menus are served with Yu Sheng Salad, which is said to symbolize good fortune. Never has indulging in so much food sounded so good for your wallet.

Harness some luck for the new year at Sofitel’s Spiral as they offer 12 dishes that promise to “bring in luck, prosperous health, wealth and bounty while embodying complex combinations of the finest flavors.” Among the selections include Traditional Hong Kong Steamed Fish, Half Shell Scallop in X.O. Sauce, Cereal Butter Prawn, and Creamy Butter Crab.

Start the Chinese New Year full and satisfied with a sumptuous eight-course meal, available in three different variations at Hilton’s Shanghainese restaurant, the Hua Ting – Brasserie Chinoise. Each set starts at P1888++ per person, which includes authentic Chinese delicacies such as a three-piece xiao long bao (pork, seafood and mushroom), heirloom shrimps, double boiled duck soup, pan-fried hairtail fish, braised pork meat “lion’s head,” and mango cream and pomelo tapioca for dessert. If you plan on scarfing down all this food with your family, the restaurant also offers private dining rooms that can fit up to 24 people. After all, there’s nothing like a celebration than with good food and good company.
