It isn’t Christmas without lavishly decorated trees lighting up every street, house, and mall come December. While it’s less about the grandeur and all about the holiday cheer, some of our favorite local celebs (with the help of professionals) definitely know how to make their trees stand out from the rest, and we can’t help but hit save on their posts every time, perhaps to inspire next year’s festivities.
9 Ways Celebrities Decorated Their Christmas Trees in 2022:
1. Vicki Belo
The Belos never fail to impress with their over-the-top Christmas trees every year. This 2022, they went for a queen bee theme with the help of their resident decorator Stephen Brown. The towering golden tree features larger-than-life ornaments such as beehives, cake slices, and queen bee figurines straight from Stephen’s party store, GlitterVille.
2. Jinkee Pacquiao
Another family that never scrimps on their Christmas tree decor is the Pacquiaos. As seen on Jinkee’s Instagram, they opted for a more elegant and romantic look to ring in the holidays this year—a tall white tree festooned by an assortment of pink, red, and gold ornaments and florals.
3. Bea Alonzo
In contrast to her yuletide trifecta last year, Bea Alonzo pared it down to just one tree for 2022. Nonetheless, an equal amount of love and care went into setting up her traditional red-and-green centerpiece, as decorated and conceptualized by Randy Lazaro and La Belle Fete. According to the latter, the tree, inspired by the nostalgia of holiday cheer, “represents Bea in all forms—classic, classy, and comforting.”
4. Gabbi Garcia
On her third year of decorating her Christmas tree, Gabbi Garcia went for a Paskong Pinoy theme with a modern twist. The actress enlisted the help of event stylist Dave Sandoval and Bespoke Manila’s Ernest Pascual to conceptualize and set up the festive Filipino tree adorned by locally-crafted sundries. Accompanying the rose gold ornaments reused from last year’s tree are capiz parols, sinamay angels, tampipi containers, rattan balls, and deer made up of coconut husks.
5. Elisse Joson
Elisse Joson just gave us the perfect idea to repurpose our polaroid photos: hang them up on a Christmas tree! As evidenced by her photo below, it’s a creative and unique way to add some spark to your usual decor.
6. Kim Chiu
Kim Chiu’s streak of personally decorating her tree annually continues this 2022. The host and actress opted for a white Christmas by adorning her 12-foot tree with silver and white balls, branches, and snowflakes, most of which were recycled from past years. Her snow-themed tree is proof that you don’t have to splurge on new decor every year to get into the holiday spirit!
7. The Kramers
Tired of the conventional green tree you see everywhere? Why not take your cue from the Kramers and light up your house with a fiery red tree to spice up the holiday season. In a post by Chesca Kramer, she thanked the team at Home Style Interior for lending a hand in creating a vibrant theme for her family’s Christmas tree. Balancing out the the blazing attraction are ornaments made out of native materials like rattan, abaca, and capiz.
8. Bianca Gonzalez
Another tree we love this year is Bianca Gonzalez’ gilded Christmas tree. The actress complemented the bevy of gold decor with accents of silver and white ornaments to complete her tree’s tastefully regal theme.
9. Pia Wurtzbach
While she’s yet to post the final product, it looks like Pia Wurtzbach had a blast decorating her Christmas tree in the UK with beau Jeremy Jauncey. Based on the ornaments set up on their table, the couple went for a silver and red motif to match their yellow twinkling lights.
