Throwback to when we'd spend hours browsing through the different titles at Book Sale. For bookworms, finding your favorite book at a discounted price is like digging up a gem. Ah, good times.
You might not be able to drop by your favorite Book Sale branch, but good news: You can still buy from the beloved book store because they are now online! Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Book Sale just recently opened a Shopee account where they have several titles available for purchase--from works of fiction to educational textbooks.
Writer Shakira Sison, whose father owns Book Sale, confirmed it on Twitter and asked for bookworms' support to keep the business afloat. "My dear father is asking for your support to help keep his employees afloat, most of whom have been with him for decades. They are struggling like everyone else."
She also shared that while they don't have an existing database of all the books available for purchase, you can always just drop them a message to ask whether a title you're looking for is available and they can drop it off at a branch near you for pick-up or even have it delivered straight to your home.
In the mean time, you can also check out the available titles on their Shopee page. FYI, they will also be part of the upcoming 10.10 sale.
