Britney Spears celebrated turning 35 doing what she does best—performing. But while she was out trying to make the audience at the KIIS Jingle Ball sing along with her, American cable channel Lifetime stole the spotlight with an interesting development regarding the singer's upcoming biopic. (Yes, it's in the works!)
Last August, the TV network announced that they are producing a self-entitled biopic film on the singer's life. Britney will be a two-hour movie that will cover everything from her early life and career peak leading up to her controversial fall from grace in the early 2000s.
The singer has already expressed her disapproval of the film, releasing a statement to EW that she will not be contributing to the project "in any way, shape, or form" nor does it have "her blessing." But despite all that, the project persisted, and Lifetime finally released official stills from the unathorized biopic a few days ago.

In the teasers, you'll spot Australian actress Natasha Bassett who will play Britney, Nathan Keyes as Justin Timberlake, Clayton Chitty as Kevin Federline, along with four other actors who will play NSYNC.

Sure, Lifetime might have done their best to give justice to the film, but the lack of Britney's consent is still worth noting here. What do you think? Maybe we should talk about her amazing birthday stage collab with Tinashe instead...
