The Preview Ball 2022 may have recently wrapped up, but we’re still reeling from its after-effects. In a crowd brimming with the country’s most familiar names clad in chic and artsy ensembles, the event kicked off a new era of fashion and art, alongside Preview’s pioneering 50 Most Influential list.
Sorted into five categories, the list gave a much-deserved nod to the trailblazers of our creative industries, namely the Style Icons, Beauty Gurus, Life Pegs, Artists, and Advocates. Among those who took the stage and bagged the accolades were Pia Wurtzbach, Vice Ganda, James Reid, Catriona Gray, Marian Rivera, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Sassa Gurl, and more!

But along the way of putting the Preview Ball’s return into fruition, we’ve pondered on this: What’s winning awards without an equally winning backdrop? This year’s version of the Preview Ball was held at The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan at property giant, Robinsons Bridgetowne, which, fun fact, is poised to become the first-ever “destination estate.”

The sprawling township connects metropolises Quezon City and Pasig City, and will house monumental and diverse integrated lifestyle areas and modern leisure hubs in its self-contained community, ranging from retail to hotels. (Spoiler alert: There will be huge things. And we mean literally!)
But what exactly is coming soon to the area? Scroll down for the scoop.
What you can expect soon at Robinsons’ Bridgetowne Destination Estate:
OPUS, Robinsons Land’s foray into premium shopping malls

When it comes to the bustling city, malls are synonymous with “go-to-hangout spot.” Bridgetowne upped the ante with Opus, a high-end shopping center and one of the many in the area’s potential list of must-see sights. The shopping mall won’t run short of aesthetics, as it’ll combine local and international interior design concepts in its whopping 154,000 square meter-floor area. Just take a peek at the concept art!
Fili, a homegrown five-star luxury hotel

Up next on the list is Fili, luxe accommodations promised to be authentically Filipino at its core. Interior enthusiasts might want to keep this on their radar since the location will be bathed in Filipino elements fused with a contemporary touch, all using locally crafted finishings.
Here’s a tip: Want to see what’s potentially in store for the hotel? Fili’s first branch has opened in the country’s newest premier integrated resort, Nustar in Cebu City where Mott 32 is also located!
A FIFA-preferred turf football field and premier sports lounge

Time for good old-fashioned cheer, fans of football (or soccer, whichever you side with). Right at the heart of Bridgetowne will be its own world-class sports field set to open in the second half of 2023, which is certified by the standards of the Federation Internationale de Football Association. Yup, that’s the one and only FIFA!
Alongside that, the football field will also hold its own sports lounge, bar and restaurant, where players can take their chances on bowling, arcade games, billiards, and even simulated golf.
The biggest permanent obstacle park in the world

There’s no need to wait that long for this one, because Bridgetowne’s very own obstacle park will be unveiled later this year. Said to be the largest permanent obstacle facility of its kind with 6,000 square meters and 25 obstacles, it will hold training sessions and course races set up by elite coaches and athletes, and operated by the Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation.
The country’s tallest public art installation

Towering over Bridgetowne will be the township’s ’gram-worthy centerpiece, The Victor, a 60-meter art piece made from perforated steel. Think 20 stories high!
The colossal art installation of a person triumphantly raising their arm is the brainchild of Filipino-American artist Jefre Manuel-Figueras. To its creator, The Victor is a “beacon of winning” that signals Bridgetowne’s manifesto of “Where Winners Go.” Right beside it is The Bridge that will link the two cities, which will both be revealed in full glory in the second quarter of 2023.
Jogging and bike lanes, food trucks, and artisan markets

Green open spaces won’t be in short supply here! Opening this year is the Bridgetowne Central Park and areas fit for frolickers, with lanes that are both jogger- and bike-friendly. For foodies and supporters of artisanal and local fare, Bridgetowne will also be unveiling areas with situated food trucks and artisan markets.
Let’s be real: Our to-do lists are now mentally packed. We can’t wait!
