Entry to Boracay requires a unique QR code. Before you can get one, you'll have to submit the requirements and receive approval from authorities.

Here's how to get a QR code for Boracay:

Get tested

Tourists are required to present a negative RT-PCR test taken 72 hours prior to the flight or schedule.

Health declaration

You have to fill up a health declaration online. Travel to Aklan is different from travel to Boracay—be sure to click the right one.

Take a screenshot of the confirmation screen once submitted.

Take note of these requirements

  • Before you can pack your bags and go, you have to gather the following requirements:
  • Screenshot of health declaration confirmation
  • RT-PCR Negative Result with date of extraction within 72 hours to date of travel
  • Copy of confirmed booking at accredited establishments
  • Roundtrip flight details
  • Proof of identification

Once you have all that, you have to e-mail them to touristboracay@gmail.com at least 12 hours before your scheduled trip to Boracay with the email subject: OHDC-Family Name, First Name.

Wait for the response to see if your documents were accepted. This usually takes a few minutes up to an hour. If no response is seen after two hours, send another e-mail.

If processing is unsuccessful, an e-mail will be sent requesting for additional documents. Quick response is encouraged to avoid delays in QR code processing.

Bring your QR Code at all times

Once approved, you will be sent a unique QR code via e-mail. You must keep a digital or printed copy with you at all times as this will be scanned at all ports of entry and exit.

Services and establishments will also require you to present it once you're in Boracay.

The tourist QR code has an expiry of 12 hours from your accommodation checkout time. If you are extending your stay in Boracay Island, please send an e-mail of a new booking slip showing the extension to touristboracay@gmail.com before your original checkout time.
