Although BINI has set foot in various parts of the globe due to their demand and success, they continue to explore the world even on their rest days. The girl group’s vocalist and rapper, Gwen Apuli, recently visited Thailand and commemorated her trip with a special photoshoot.

The Filipina performer looked regal in a chakkri, one of the most popular traditional dresses of ever-vibrant Thailand. Embodying elegance, the attire typically consists of a sinh—a long wrap-around skirt—and a sabai, a silk shawl draped over one shoulder and trailing to the ground. Beneath the shawl is a top also made of silk.

Gwen’s ensemble came in a blush pink shade, elevated by an abundance of gold accessories that complemented her blonde hair.

Serving as a jaw-dropping backdrop to Gwen’s majestic poses was Wat Arun, one of Bangkok’s revered Buddhist temples. A landmark steeped in cultural history, it’s the kind of moment worth remembering—and a series of unique photos makes for a fun and meaningful way to do just that.

The snapshots were taken by Aumbun Naksata, a Bangkok-based photographer known on Instagram as @ohoh_funny_photographer.

A one-hour shoot around the historic temple costs 2,000 baht (around P3,500), with no set limit on the number of photos taken. It’s flexible, too—the rate covers up to four people, whether you're going solo or with a small group.

Traditional attire is available to rent starting at 150 baht (roughly P260), and it definitely adds to the atmosphere, especially against a backdrop like Wat Arun.

In the comments section of his post, Aumbun shared, “I was the one who took all the pictures for you, but I didn’t know you until today when I found out that you are a celebrity.” After being asked, he told Preview that he’s offering a generous discount to Gwen’s fellow BINI members and their supporters. Photoshoot and costume rental fees are reduced to 1,500 baht (approx. P2,625) and 100 baht (approx. P175), respectively.
