There’s something for everyone when you travel to Seoul, South Korea. The city is an eclectic place where you will never run out of things to do, as evidenced in Erwan Heussaff’s vlog, in which he documented the details of his trip with wife Anne Curtis. Seoul does have a lot to offer, whether you’re a huge foodie like Erwan or a certified K-drama addict like Anne! Check out some of his recommendations below and get ready to plan that trip.
1. Do a K-drama tour.
As a K-drama lover, Anne of course wouldn’t miss out on visiting the locations where her favorite shows were shot, including the subway cave from Goblin, as well as the actual café from Coffee Prince.
2. Try authentic K-BBQ and Korean street food.
The food is an absolute must-try at Seoul, especially for K-BBQ fans. Try an authentic barbecue experience, as well as a street food crawl in the city. Some dishes to try? Tteokbokki, gimbap, and pork dumplings!
3. Go sightseeing!
Seoul offers a mix of modern and traditional attractions. Some of the city’s historical sites can be found at Gyeongbokgung. South Korea’s largest theme park, Everland, boasts of thrilling virtual reality rides, and the world’s first wooden roller coaster. Meanwhile, Common Ground is perfect for those seeking hip spots—it’s a pop-up collective made of shipping containers, housing young designers and other independent concepts.
