No need to get down and dirty to go camping.

If you’re looking to relax and unplug from your busy city life, why not go glamping? A shortened term for "glamorous camping," it has all the perks of a relaxing escape out into nature without having to give up all the basic necessities that ensure your comfort.

Below, check out a few of the best glamping sites in the country for a comfy yet unique experience!

1. Nayomi Sanctuary Resort, Batangas

Glamp with a view at Nayomi Sanctuary Resort in Batangas. Situated atop a deck wrapped by wooden balusters, their cluster of ball tents stand before a clear view of  Batangas mountains. Inside the fully carpeted tents are amenities to ensure a cozy stay including three double beds, big and fluffy pillows, warm blankets, an industrial electric fan, a wooden chest to store your things, lamps, and power outlets. Meanwhile, each tent comes with its own picnic table and bathroom when you step outside. No need to worry about sharing a public bath or having to interact with other people especially if you’re not the type to make small talk with strangers. If you’re not a fan of being cooped up in one space the whole day, you can opt to enjoy the resort's available activities, like swimming in their pool, wakeboarding, or hiking up Taal Volcano.

2. The Birdhouse, El Nido

Another elevated glamping site with a view is The Birdhouse in El Nido. It’s the ideal getaway if you want to escape the fast-paced stress of city-life and just sit back, relax, and enjoy the refreshing visuals of Bacuit Bay before you. Each of their tents is uniquely designed by their in-house interior designer ensuring you that each experience is different should you choose to keep coming back. Each nest has solar-powered lamps with USB sockets for charging your devices. As for activities to keep you busy, you can either swim on the beach, kayak, snorkel, or island hop around El Nido’s 45 islets. However, if you’d rather stay within the premises, The Birdhouse also has a BBQ pit, board games, and even a library for bookworms content with just lounging about and reading. They also provide breakfast every morning!
