Financial publication Global Finance has just published its annual list of the world's best cities to live in. This year, three out of the 10 in the ranking were Asian cities—with Tokyo, Japan on the top of the list. Global Finance also looked at how each city dealt with COVID-19 to "underline how a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic affected which cities would be best to live in."

Using the Global City Power Index, the ranking scores each city on the different aspects of life. The publication looked at eight factors, including economic strength, research and development, cultural interaction, livability, environment, accessibility, GDP per capita, and COVID-19 deaths per million for the country.
