We're days away from the much-awaited Miss Universe 2021 coronation night, and as avid pageant watchers (as almost all Filipinos are), we can't wait to see Bea Gomez in action! The 26-year-old Cebuana has attested to the fact that she does have a more calm and quiet demeanor as compared to other queens, but don't let that fool you.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the beauty queen shared she actually has "an alter ego that [she characterizes] when she performs." She goes on to say that her persona as "Beatrice" is the quiet and shy person many people see, but she becomes "Luigi," the fighter within her, when she gets on stage.

We catch a glimpse of Luigi when she hits the floor and sways her hips. It's a persona Bea has been honing ever since she began her training to compete for the national title. Back then, she had Ian Mendajar, a runway coach from beauty camp Aces & Queens, to thank for developing her pasarela skills both as Beatrice and as Luigi.
The Cebuana has revealed in a number of interviews that her runway walk will be "a new walk, a better one than my usual one." In a TikTok video by @realpageantry_, she shared that Miss Universe PH Creative Director, Jonas Gaffud, actually dubbed it as the "Luigi Walk," to represent her fieriness that comes out when she struts.

Pageant blogger @briadventurez_ got to catch up with the beauty queen who's at Eilat, Israel right now. Click on the video below to see a sneak peek of the "Luigi Walk."
Good luck, Bea (and Luigi)! We can't wait for the big night!
